technologies and to actively participate in the development of industry
regulations, Satmex is a member of the most important Mexican and
international telecommunications organizations and associations.
International Telecommunication Union (ITU)
Permanent International Organization of the United Nations (UN)
in charge of the management of the geostationary spectrum.
Satmex's activities in the ITU include monitoring and resolving
regulatory and technical issues related to satellite coordination
and the management of the orbit/spectrum resource.

Regional Telecommunications Organization that belongs to the Organization
of American States (OAS), formed by American and Caribbean countries,
as well as by telecommunications companies and operators.
Satmex is an associate member, and its objective is to ensure a
favorable regulatory environment for its clients' landing rights
throughout the region.
